Our commitment
Wild Idol is built to be used by everyone. We design and develop wildidol.com to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This is an ongoing effort — we audit our pages each quarter and address findings as part of our normal release cycle.
What we've done
- Color contrast meets WCAG AA across body text, headings, eyebrows, and form fields
- All interactive elements are reachable by keyboard with a visible focus indicator
- Horizontal galleries and carousels are keyboard-scrollable
- Images carry meaningful alt text; decorative imagery is properly marked
- Forms use semantic labels and announce errors and confirmations
- Pages reflow cleanly down to 320px wide and up to 200% browser zoom
- Motion respects
prefers-reduced-motionsystem preferences - The site is regularly tested with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack)
Known limitations
Some embedded content from third-party services (for example, payment providers, video hosts, and customer account pages hosted by Shopify) may not fully meet our internal standards. We work with our partners to push these toward conformance and replace any that fall short over time.
Tell us about a barrier
If you encounter content on Wild Idol that you cannot access, please email hello-us@wildidol.com with the page address, the device or assistive technology you are using, and a brief description of what didn't work. We aim to respond within five business days and to provide a fix or workable alternative within 30 days.
Standard
This site is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We track WCAG 2.2 additions and adopt them where they apply. We do not use accessibility overlay widgets; we build accessibility into the site directly.
